OmniStudio for Vlocity (previously it was called a Digital Interaction Platform) and OmniStudio have a few differences.

Go to Setup and look for Omni Interaction Configuration to find out whether your organisation uses OmniStudio sObjects (standard objects) or OmniStudio for Vlocity sObjects (custom objects).

• Your organisation uses OmniStudio sObjects if there is an entry named TheFirstInstalledOmniPackage.
• Your organisation uses OmniStudio for Vlocity sObjects if you can’t locate Omni Interaction Configuration or TheFirstInstalledOmniPackage entry is missing.

Packages Installed	OmniStudio or OmniStudio for Vlocity?
Any Industry package with OmniStudio licenses present For Vlocity Insurance, OmniStudio licenses are present by default	OmniStudio
Any Industry package with OmniStudio licenses not present For ​Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy, OmniStudio licenses aren’t present by default	OmniStudio for Vlocity

Note :
If you installed an Industry package without OmniStudio licenses, installing the OmniStudio package afterward isn’t allowed. If you installed an Industry package with OmniStudio licenses, installing the OmniStudio package afterward isn’t necessary.
